Dr. Mudit Khanna

Dr. Mudit Khanna is a Senior Fellowship-Trained Consultant Joint Replacement Surgeon with over 18 years of specialized surgical experience. He is widely recognized for pioneering the Direct Anterior Approach (DAA) for Hip Replacement in India—a minimally invasive technique that significantly enhances patient recovery. Dr. Khanna has received extensive training at some of the world’s leading orthopaedic centres in the UK, Germany, USA, and Singapore.

A staunch advocate of innovation, he has pioneered the introduction of Advanced Technology and Artificial Intelligence into Joint Replacement Surgery, starting with Brainlab Computer Navigation and now leading with Mako Smart Robotics. As one of the select few certified Trainer-Surgeons in the country, he mentors both young and senior orthopaedic surgeons in mastering robotic technology. Dr. Khanna follows a strict patient-centric philosophy, employing the Enhanced Recovery After Surgery (ERAS) protocol and viewing surgery as a last resort after all conservative options have been explored.
